Myanmar Still Put Pressure on Helper
According to CNN again, Myanmar still put pressure on aid that they find it hard to help people on time. The United Nations said Friday that severe restrictions by Myanmar's military junta have left aid agencies largely in the dark about the extent of survivors' suffering, two weeks after a killer cyclone left up to 2.5 million people destitute.John Holmes, U.N. undersecretary-general for humanitarian affairs, will go to Myanmar on Sunday to try to convince junta leaders to grant more access for U.N. relief workers and massively scale up aid efforts, said Amanda Pitt, a U.N. spokeswoman in Bangkok, Thailand.
Some diplomats have also been invited by the regime to visit the delta, said Heinke Veit, an EU spokeswoman in Myanmar. She said she had no details.
Officials of various U.N. agencies called a news conference in Bangkok to give an update on their relief operations. The most basic data was missing, from the number of orphans to the extent of diseases and the number of refugee camps.People is dieing, time is very convenience. Another 5.5-Magnitude Earthquake Rattled Hit Sichuan Province on Friday
According to CNN, another 5.5-magnitude earthquake rattled Sichuan province shortly after President Hu Jintao arrived in the quake zone on Friday to get a first-hand look at the devastated region. It was a very terrible history for China to experience his disaster.As frantic search-and-rescue efforts entered a fifth day, the official death toll issued by authorities in Sichuan Province now stood at 22,069, with 14,000 still buried, 159,000 injured and 4.8 million homeless, according to China's Xinhua state news agency. China's state council said Thursday that the number of dead could eventually top 50,000.
The 7.9 magnitude earthquake that rocked southwestern China Monday afternoon has left a very terrible result which has shocked the world.

6 Shot Dead, Including Gunman, at Northern Illinois University
Four died at the scene, including the shooter, and two later died at the hospital, he said.
At least 22 people, including a graduate student who was teaching an ocean sciences class, were shot, Peters said.
Seventeen victims were taken to Kishwaukee Community Hospital, its Web site said.
Of those, six were in critical condition and were flown to other hospitals. One fatality, a male, was confirmed -- but was not the gunman, the hospital said. Two were admitted, and three others were discharged. The other five were not addressed on the Web site.
Four of the fatalities were female, said Peters.
Most of the injuries are head and chest gunshot wounds, a hospital spokeswoman told CNN.
The gunman started shooting from a stage in the room shortly after 3 p.m. (4 p.m. ET) in Cole Hall, officials said.
Police Chief Donald Grady said authorities do not yet know of a motive.
They know the identity of the gunman but have not released his name, Grady added.
The shooter was a graduate student at NIU in the spring of 2007. Currently he was not enrolled there but, Grady said, "He may have been a student elsewhere."
Kevin McEnery said he was in the classroom when the gunman, dressed in a black shirt, dark pants and black hat, burst in carrying a shotgun.
